5 North Herts Road Runners raced at the Serpentine Last Friday of the Month 5km and were rewarded with excellent times for dashing round Hyde Park. First home for the club, just 1 second off the club V45 record, was Pete Scrowther who finished 2nd V45 in 17.33. Stewart Bryant won the V50s on the day with 18.51 followed by Martyn Annetts who also dipped under the 20 minute barrier recording 19.53. V55 Chris Priestley was pleased with his fastest time for 3 years, 20.13, and sole female representative Karen Dodsworth finished 3rd V45 in 22.52.
