FRAMPTON FLIES AT SILVERSTONE!

 

V50 Dave Frampton enjoyed a stunning performance at the Adidas Silverstone Half marathon on Sunday finishing 75th and 3rd V50 out of a field of 8000 runners.  Running around the Formula 1 course Frampton recorded 1.24.21 for the 13.1 miles to earn his 2^nd highest age group percentage of 81.47%. 

 

 

 

 

FINCHLEY 20 – PERFECT PACERS

 

Meanwhile Howard Davies and Chris Priestley travelled to Finchley for the annual pre-London 20 mile race.  Howard finished in 2.26.24 whilst Chris ran a controlled race, practicing pace judgement for the marathon, to complete the course in 2.40.37.

 

 

BATH BULLETS

Further afield 2 members travelled to Bath to take advantage of a fast flat course to record half marathon PBs; Mark Young finished 233rd out of a field of 10,000 in 1.24.00 whilst Teresa Northey was delighted with her 1.43.21.clocking.
