Peter Scrowther of the North Herts Road Runners was in action again over 5k, this week at the Serpentine Last Friday of the Month race in Hyde Park. Pete completed the deceptively hilly course in 23rd place and 18.33. He was fourth in the V45 age category. Stewart Bryant was also fourth in his age group, the V50s, finishing in 40th place and a time of 18.57. Martyn Annetts finished 52nd in 19.37 and posted a 28 second improvement on his time over the same course in July's race.
Keiron McGill was the only other Squirrel racing this week. He achieved a new PB over 5k at the Barking 5k which took place on August 25th. Keiron completed the course in 18.12 and came home in 24th position.
