Some of you know that last week-end I took part in the UK's first ever Double Ironman, 4.8 mile swim, 224 mile cycle, 52.4 mile run. A truly amazing experience, I came 8th in a time of 27 hours, 30 minutes and 58 seconds. I wore my NHRR t shirt for the whole of the first marathon. Former member Mark Trussell came as my support and played a major part in my success s has all the running coaching and sessions over the past year. As you would expect I am on cloud 9.
